Overview:
Verbal Beginnings | ABA Centers | Part-Time Changing lives. One child at a time. One professional at a time.
Location:
ABA Centers (in-person)
Part Time Scheduling:
Up to 30 hrs/week. Employees must have full-day A Block (7:30am-4pm) or B Block (8:30am-5pm) availability. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on center/client needs.
Compensation:
$20-$29 per hour (based on experience and RBT certification)

Responsibilities:
Summary The Part-Time ABA Technician position at the Verbal Beginnings Center involves providing ABA therapy to clients at the Verbal Beginnings Center, while living out our

Passion, Accountability, Celebration & Kindness. All ABA Technicians are expected to engage professionally and responsibly within the organization.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
Implement individualized, evidence-based ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA to address each child's unique goals. Collect and record precise data to track each child's progress and inform ongoing treatment updates. Collaborate closely with your clinical supervisor to ensure consistent, high-quality care for every child. Build positive, trusting relationships with children, their families, and your fellow team members.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High School Diploma Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism reach their goals Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a care team Preferred Associate's Degree in healthcare or core science 1-6 months of related experience working with children with Autism Previous experience in ABA Therapy 40-hr RBT course completed prior to start date Certification Note Applicants who are not yet RBT-certified must complete the RBT coursework and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of hire. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that an employee must be able to meet to successfully perform the essential functions of the role. Regularly required to perform activities such as reaching, grasping, walking briskly or running, sitting on the floor, kneeling, crouching, ascending and descending stairs, and transitioning quickly between standing, sitting, and other positions (e.g., floor, chair, or other surfaces) throughout the day. Ability to interact effectively by speaking clearly, using age-appropriate language, and observing and maintaining attention through verbal and non-verbal communication Successful completion of Safety Care training and Re-Certifications, which includes carrying children per Safety Care training. Active participation in Safety Care is a condition of employment.
