9669719-21701 Job Description A contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a specialized program near Frederick, MD. In this role, youll provide essential services within an integrated special education setting designed for students with significant social and emotional needs. The Pyramid Program offers intensive therapeutic and educational support in a small, structured classroom environment situated within a general education school. This opportunity is available immediately, allowing you to shadow the current BCBA until their leave begins in December. Your assignment will continue through the end of the academic year (June 4), offering continuity and support to students and staff throughout the transition.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Familiarity with supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and administrators Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for creating and implementing behavioral intervention plans
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention strategies for students in the Pyramid Program Provide direct support and coaching to school staff regarding behavior management techniques and intervention fidelity Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress, adapting plans as needed Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing collaboration with program staff Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with program standards and special education regulations This is a full-time, 40-hour weekly role with regular hours of 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with occasional after-school meetings.
