About the
Role:
Housing Advocacy Vocational and Employment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team in Gaithersburg, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals by applying evidence-based behavioral strategies in a supportive and mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Provide direct ABA therapy and oversee implementation of behavior analytic programming Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior technician staff Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent program implementation Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with BACB ethics and standards Provide training and parent/caregiver coaching to support generalization of skills across settings
Requirements:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field Experience conducting FBAs and developing and implementing BIPs Strong knowledge of ABA principles, verbal behavior, and evidence-based practices Experience supervising RBTs or behavior technicians preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Compassionate, client-centered approach with a commitment to ethical practice
