The successful candidate will provide essential behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities, contributing to their overall well-being and improvement of daily living skills. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as a deep understanding of behavioral health principles. Duties
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide individualized behavioral therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive support network.
  • Conduct functional assessments to identify areas of need and develop strategies to improve daily living skills, including ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
  • Collect and maintain accurate medical records and behavioral data to inform treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with special education teams to provide educational support and integrate therapy sessions into the educational environment.
  • Educate clients and their families on behavioral health strategies and how to apply them in real-life situations.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the highest level of care. Skills
  • Strong background in patient care and behavioral health.
  • Experience with behavioral therapy, particularly Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities and their impact on daily living skills.
  • Ability to create and implement personalized care plans.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with medical records and behavioral data collection.
  • Understanding of special education and the importance of integrating therapy into educational settings.
  • Proficiency in teaching and reinforcing daily living skills, including ADLs.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of behavioral health.
