In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols, support clients in achieving their goals, and collaborate closely with supervising behavior analysts and care teams. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and communication to promote independence and improve quality of life Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized behavior management strategies aligned with client care plans and ABA therapy protocols Support clients with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders through direct behavioral therapy sessions Maintain detailed medical documentation, behavioral records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to update on progress and address concerns Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure high standards of client care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or in progress Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and data collection methods Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and medical documentation standards including HIPAA compliance Home-based behavioral experience is a plus, along with school or clinical experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong communication skills for client interaction, family engagement, and team collaboration Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development in behavioral health Embark on a rewarding career where your skills foster growth, independence, and positive change.
