Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday:
7:00 AM-9:00 AM AND 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Approximately 25 hours per week

Rockville, MD 20850 Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) , where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support clients in developing essential life skills, and foster positive behavior change in home, school, or community settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and hygiene, to promote independence and self-care skills. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement ABA therapy protocols under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring consistency and fidelity to established procedures. Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and educational teams to provide updates on progress and collaborate on care plans. Maintain detailed treatment documentation, session notes, and client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, ethical guidelines, ABA principles, and best practices for working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Skills & Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred/required. Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder or other neurodevelopmental conditions. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementation of ABA therapy protocols. Strong ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral and developmental goals. Proficiency in behavioral data collection and progress tracking. Familiarity with documentation standards and HIPAA compliance. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families. Home-based ABA or school-based experience is highly desirable. Dependable, patient, compassionate, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule. Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
