Shining Star Clinic - ABA Therapy Center is hiring bilingual Behavior Technicians to work directly with children with autism at our clinic in Silver Spring, Maryland. This opportunity is suited to college students, recent graduates, and applicants interested in psychology, education, social work, child development, or healthcare . Applicants from other backgrounds are also welcome. No prior ABA experience or RBT certification is required to apply. We provide paid training, paid orientation, and support to help qualified team members work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). What You'll Do Work one-on-one with children receiving applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. Follow individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Help children practice communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills. Record session data, complete documentation, and participate in training and team meetings. Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking children and families within your role and under clinical guidance.

Pay and Training Pay:

$20-$22 per hour. Starting pay is $20 per hour . Candidates with prior relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting rate, up to $22 per hour . We provide paid RBT training, paid orientation, ongoing BCBA supervision, and professional development opportunities . You do not need previous ABA experience to begin the training pathway. Schedule and Location This is a part-time, in-person position at our Silver Spring clinic. Schedules depend on your recurring availability, client assignments, and clinic needs. We will discuss your availability during the hiring process. Once we agree on your assigned schedule, consistent attendance is expected. No home visits or driving between clients are required. Qualifications Ability to communicate comfortably in both English and Spanish. This position involves direct work with Spanish-speaking children and families. At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED. Dependable, professional, and comfortable working directly with children. Willing to complete RBT training and certification requirements and required background screening and fingerprinting. Able to travel consistently to our Silver Spring clinic for assigned shifts. Experience in childcare, tutoring, coaching, camps, youth programs, special education, autism support, or behavioral health is helpful but not required . Paid and volunteer experience are both relevant. Students studying psychology, education, social work, child development, nursing, pre-health, or related subjects are encouraged to apply.
