Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting students with significant social and emotional needs through the Pyramid Program at a middle school near Sykesville, MD. This contract position is perfect for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eager to make an impact by providing intensive special education and therapeutic services in a structured, inclusive environment. The assignment will begin as soon as possible, allowing for a transition period before covering a leave starting in December and extending through the end of February. Youll have the unique opportunity to shadow the outgoing BCBA to ensure a seamless handover and the best support for students.
Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification required Experience working with students experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges preferred Relevant background in special education and behavior analysis Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Ability to contribute to an inclusive and supportive school community
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive behavioral and therapeutic support to students in the Pyramid Program Collaborate with educators, therapists, and administrators to develop and implement individualized plans Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Participate in team meetings, some of which may occur after standard school hours Foster a safe, supportive learning environment in a structured small-group setting Provide guidance, training, and support to other staff as appropriate
