Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting students at two vibrant elementary campuses as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This is an exciting contract opportunity near Sykesville, MD, offering meaningful daily impact alongside dedicated educational teams. You'll serve at Butterfly Ridge Elementary, assisting with school-wide and crisis behavioral support from Pre-K through 5th grade, and at Orchard Grove Elementary, providing focused, program-based support within the Learning for Life Program. These assignments are scheduled to begin as soon as possible and extend through November 13th, with potential for extension based on evolving school needs. What we're looking for: Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required) Experience supporting children in school or behavioral health settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with diverse teams and students Flexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving student and classroom needs Dedication and empathy in supporting students with a range of behavioral and learning profiles Day-to-day responsibilities: Deliver direct behavior support to students as outlined by educational teams and behavior intervention plans Provide crisis support at Butterfly Ridge Elementary as needed Offer individualized support for the Learning for Life Program at Orchard Grove Elementary Accurately collect data and document behavioral interventions and outcomes Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students This full-time position runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, offering the chance to make tangible and visible changes in students' lives each day.
