Functional Curriculum Description:
A school district is seeking qualified Educational Technicians (Level II or III) to support elementary students in a life skills-based program. This role focuses on providing structured academic, behavioral, and functional support to help students build independence and succeed in the school environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to K-5 students in a life skills classroom Assist with implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Support functional academics, daily living skills, and social development Follow behavior support plans and classroom routines Collaborate with teachers and related service providers
Qualifications:
Valid Educational Technician II or III certification required Experience working with elementary students and/or special education preferred Ability to support students with varying academic and behavioral needs Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
