General Function The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will be primarily responsible for overseeing and providing clinical oversight to a team of behavior technicians, while developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Education/Experience/Training/Certifications Master's Degree in ABA or related field Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities Current BCBA certification and LBA 8-Hour Supervision Training Certificate Job Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a caseload from 7-10 clients Conducts assessments and develops individualized treatment plans for clients, including but not limited to preference assessments, initials and reassessments. Provides clinical oversight and supervision to a team of RBTs, BTs and, Practicum Students Trains behavior technicians and parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention plans Conducts weekly supervisions and parent trainings to caseload Collects and analyzes data to monitor client progress and make treatment adjustments as necessary Collaborates with other healthcare providers and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with company policies and regulations Participates in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain BCBA certification Develops, plans and implements program goals, objectives, personnel, resources and equipment Maintain productivity levels Other responsibilities as appropriate Working Conditions The work environment includes the clinic, home and community setting. Lifting and physical exertion is required. Flexibility in working hours is necessary to accommodate client needs (evenings hours and Saturdays on a rotating basis). Abilities & Skills Ability to efficiently write and communicate verbally as part of a healthcare team. Ability to work supportively with other professionals and staff. Ability to travel to sessions and meetings within Wayne County Skills to meet strength and lifting requirements.
