Job Description
Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) near Southfield, MI. In this contract position, you'll collaborate closely with educational teams to deliver one-on-one and group behavioral interventions, helping students reach their highest potential within a positive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience providing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children or adolescents, preferably in school or educational settings.
- Ability to implement behavioral intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must clear any required background screenings and meet compliance requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer individualized behavioral interventions based on treatment plans set by supervising BCBAs.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on student behaviors and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to reinforce effective strategies and promote positive student outcomes.
- Support classroom management and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school culture.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions for continued professional development.
