Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene routines Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support teaching and skill acquisition across various domains such as communication, social skills, and self-care Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts to ensure adherence to care plans and ethical standards outlined by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to promote consistency in behavioral strategies across environments Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health goals in home or clinical settings Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and maintaining accurate medical records Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards Experience working in school or home-based environments supporting individuals with disabilities or special education needs Excellent client communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to care High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in behavior analysis is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication helps transform lives!
