Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician on a contract assignment near Westland, MI! Two exciting opportunities are now available—one providing 1:1 support at an elementary school, and another working within an ASD classroom—each offering 37.5 hours per week. Your dedication and skills will help empower children to succeed both socially and academically.
Desired Qualifications:
Active, current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Prior experience working with children or within a school environment preferred Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles Strong organizational and communication skills Compassionate, patient, and adaptable when working with diverse student needs Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent, high-quality 1:1 behavioral support to students in accordance with their individualized plans Implement interventions, collect detailed data, and monitor progress Collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and school personnel Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times These positions deliver meaningful professional experience and the chance to support positive change in students' lives.
