Job Description

• Simple Staffing is hiring for this position on behalf of Apex Therapy Services • We are seeking dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral support services for clients in a residential atmosphere, across the lifespan. BCBAs will provide consultation and guidance to clients, caregivers, and team members; develop comprehensive treatment plans; supervise staff; and promote best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The residences home will be located in the Wayne County area.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments. Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP Supervise and train ABA Technicians. Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform treatment decisions. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals. Communicate effectively with funding sources and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure ethical and legal compliance in all aspects of service delivery. Demonstrate proficiency in crisis prevention and intervention strategies. Stay up to date with current research and maintain certification requirements.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
Current certification as a
BCBA/BCBA-D
(BACB) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Michigan. Master's or doctoral degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work flexibly in various settings and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
Preferred:
Three (3) or more years' experience as a BCBA. Two (2) or more years of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or related disabilities. Experience supervising ABA Behavior Technicians, and/or BCBA/BCaBA graduate/practicum students. Background working in multiple environments, including homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.
