A Relational Behavioral Support Professional is an experienced support professional that will need to meet the qualifications to be considered for the position. The location for this position is in Apple Valley, MN.

Qualifications:

Two years of crisis intervention behavioral support Skilled in de-escalation, emotional regulation support, and trauma-informed care Able to stay centered and responsive—not reactive—under pressure Assertive communicator who can step into challenging conversations when needed Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record-Required Bachelor's degree in related field and/or RBT certification (preferred) Schedule would consist of a combination of day and evening shifts and every other weekend in addition to working some holidays. This is an experienced direct support position that supports a robust staffing ratio offering specialized services to individual(s) that can display very intense aggression towards others, property, or self-harm. We are seeking staff that are experts in utilizing strength-based and positive relational principles to model, teach and support the development of positive relationships and safe responses to emotional stress. Your responsibilities would include:

Implement behavioral intervention strategies and consistently adhere to the principals of Positive Behavior Supports (providing crisis prevention/intervention services to the individual(s) served). Teaching and mentoring in daily living skills and assist the individual(s) served with problem solving skills. Maintain complete and accurate documentation. Implementing person-centered outcomes Attend weekly meetings, debriefs as needed and complete all required training Participate in our personal growth and leadership training program

Physical Requirements/Qualifications:

Physical requirements of this job involve standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and being capable of executing rapid movements and implementing a manual restraint.
