In this rewarding role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment strategies Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, feeding, and communication skills Support teaching sessions by reinforcing positive behaviors and managing challenging behaviors through effective behavior management techniques Collaborate with supervisors, families, and educational teams to ensure consistency across care plans and therapeutic approaches Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, monthly supervision, special education, medical terminology, and care plan updates Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy or working with children with developmental disabilities is required; we provide comprehensive training for all new team members Passion for working with individuals with autism or other developmental challenges; patience and a caring attitude are essential Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement structured interventions consistently Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families Basic understanding of medical records management, medical terminology, and confidentiality standards such as HIPAA Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities College degree or equivalent; additional education in special education, applied behavioral analysis or related fields is a plus Embark on a fulfilling career where your efforts directly impact lives.
