Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence Collect and record detailed behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts to support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors Support clients through structured teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors Maintain accurate medical documentation, treatment records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to reinforce therapy goals across various settings such as home or school Contribute to care plans by providing insights on client progress and behavior management strategies based on observed data Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD) Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and special education principles Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavioral therapy protocols effectively Strong data collection skills and experience maintaining detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and healthcare regulations is a plus Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family support Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about applying your skills in behavioral health to improve lives!
