Kansas City, MO Schedule:
7 am•3 pm pay rate: $27/hr Overview A school district in Kansas City, MO is seeking RBT's•Registered Behavior Techs to work in the classroom!

The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in supporting clients in achieving their goals through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and fostering a positive learning environment. Duties Implement individualized care plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, providing one-on-one support. Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor client progress and report findings to the supervising BCBA. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Utilize medical terminology effectively when discussing client needs and progress. Skills Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of special education practices and principles. Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Proficiency in medical documentation practices while adhering to HIPAA standards. A compassionate approach to working with individuals facing behavioral challenges.
