Job Description

Registered Behavior Technician Job Description:
Sadowsky Autism Services is looking for individuals in the Platte City, MO area to work 1:1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a part time capacity. At Sadowsky Autism Services we use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to develop individualized instruction programs for each child. It is our mission to maximize each child's potential in a fun, child-friendly atmosphere. Each RBT will work 1:1 with a child with a fully customized therapeutic plan specifically tailored to meet their needs and requirements. Pay Rate Starting at $20.00/hr
Process:
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to increase hours as you build competency with the teaching procedures and strategies. Paid training in Applied Behavior Analysis principles. The 40-hour period of online instruction required for RBT certification (if you meet the requirements and work as an actual RBT with our company for 90 days, you will receive a $400 bonus for completing the online training) RBT test preparation and practice test administration CPR training reimbursement Reimbursement for the cost of your RBT exam and creating an account with the Behavior Analysis Control Board A formal RBT competency assessment performed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Paid time for the shadowing of our
RBT Trainers Responsibilities:
Will implement ABA therapy treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA to help develop new skills and reduce challenging behaviors and emotions. Collecting and recording data on the clients behaviors and progress Provide consistent and hands-on support in various settings with individuals with Autism Utilize positive reinforcement to encourage and promote positive behavior changes Helping with communication and socialization through play-based approach Developing a strong relationship with individual clients to promote growth and progress Supporting behavior management and emotional regulation by implementing the strategies consistently
Qualifications:
GED or high school diploma Real ID - for access to military bases Must have high speed internet access (for the training videos) Pass a comprehensive background check Have reliable transportation Have mobility to bend, kneel, crawl and stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and move items up to 30 pounds Be fun-loving and enthusiastic about helping children with autism
