Job Description

Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) | Part-Time After-School Hours Available Looking for Extra Hours After School? Shining Steps ABA is seeking caring, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team. Our greatest need is for team members who are available during after-school hours, making this a great opportunity for: Current RBTs looking to add hours to their caseload Center-based ABA staff seeking supplemental income Paraprofessionals, instructional aides, and school staff College students pursuing psychology, education, child development, or related fields Individuals interested in starting a rewarding career in ABA Session times will be Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM in a daycare setting.
Compensation:
Behavior Technician (BT) Up to $22.00 per hour Not yet registered as an RBT Currently completing or willing to complete the 40-Hour RBT Training Course Paid training and support available Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Up to $24.00 per hour Must maintain an active RBT certification Pay based on experience, certification status, and case assignment
What You'll Do:
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents Work in home, school, clinic, and community settings Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA Collect and record data during therapy sessions Support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills No RBT Certification? We Can Help. We welcome applicants who are interested in entering the ABA field and becoming certified. Our team can provide guidance and support through the RBT certification process, including completion of the required 40-hour training program.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance Positive, patient, and professional attitude Ability to pass a background check and meet employment requirements Availability during afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours
