Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team serving clients in Alamance County, North Carolina. This vital role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing individualized behavioral intervention plans to support individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, mental health conditions, or behavioral challenges. As a BCBA, you will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful progress and enhance quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies. Design, implement, and supervise evidence-based behavior intervention plans aligned with best practices and client goals. Provide ongoing training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and facilitate effective communication. Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting interventions as necessary for optimal outcomes. Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to behavior analysis, including HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Maintain detailed documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems, including treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries. Requirements Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities across various settings such as outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR management), HIPAA compliance, and clinical case management tools. Strong skills in patient assessment, task prioritization, client communication, and discharge planning. Experience working with diverse populations including those from different cultural backgrounds or with substance use disorders is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in settings such as hospital environments or community-based programs. Excellent organizational skills for managing medical records, utilization management documentation, and community resource coordination. Basic life support (BLS) certification or equivalent is required; additional certifications in mental health counseling or addiction counseling are advantageous. $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
