r44114-27215 Job Description Join our team and help create positive learning environments for students throughout the Greensboro, NC area. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide school-based behavioral support services for students in the Greensboro, North Carolina area. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative professional who is passionate about improving student outcomes through evidence-based behavioral interventions. Position Overview The BCBA will work closely with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective behavior support plans, conduct assessments, and provide staff training to promote positive student behavior and academic success. This is a full-time contract opportunity approximately 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs). Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, school staff, and families along with supervision for RBTs as necessary Analyze behavioral data and make recommendations based on student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Train staff in evidence-based behavior management strategies. Collaborate with educators and related service providers to support student success. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications Required:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB. Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field. Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Previous school-based BCBA experience. Knowledge of
IDEA, IEP
processes, and special education regulations. Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
