  • RBT•Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract # Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)•Burlington, NC Soliant is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in the Burlington, North Carolina area.

This position will provide dedicated 1:1 behavioral support to a student with significant behavioral needs throughout the school day. ## Position Details

              Daily Schedule:

              8:15 AM

              • 3:45 PM
              Lunch:

              30-minute unpaid lunch

                Caseload:

                1:1 student assignment

                  Setting:

                  On-site, school-based position ## Caseload & Student Needs The RBT will work directly with one student who requires consistent behavioral support throughout the school day. Please note that the student may exhibit aggressive and challenging behaviors, including hitting. Candidates should be confident working with students who display significant behavioral needs and comfortable remaining calm, professional, and consistent when responding to challenging situations. ## Responsibilities

                  • Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support throughout the school day
                  • Implement established Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and behavioral strategies
                  • Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles under appropriate supervision
                  • Assist with behavior reduction and skill-acquisition programs
                  • Collect and accurately document behavioral and student progress data
                  • Support the student with transitions, classroom activities, and daily routines
                  • Use appropriate de-escalation and behavior-management techniques
                  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, BCBAs, and other members of the student's educational team
                  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment ## Qualifications
                  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
                  • Previous experience working with children or students with significant behavioral needs strongly preferred
                  • Experience managing aggressive or challenging behaviors preferred
                  • Comfortable providing consistent 1:1 support in a school environment
                  • Strong communication, patience, reliability, and behavior-management skills
