Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Hickory, NC | Monday-Friday | 30+ Hours/Week $18-$27/hour + Bonus Opportunities No ABA experience? No problem — we'll train you! Looking for more than "just a job"? What if you could spend your workday helping kids learn, grow, communicate, play, and become more independent —and build a career while you're doing it? At Autism 360 , we're hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for our Huntersville team. New to ABA? That's okay! This is an entry-level opportunity with paid training and hands-on support . If you're dependable, energetic, compassionate, and enjoy working with children, we can teach you the rest. What Does a Behavior Technician Actually Do? Think of yourself as part teacher, coach, cheerleader, play partner, and skill-builder . You'll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help them develop skills that can make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives. Your day may include helping a child learn to communicate what they want, practice social skills, become more independent with daily routines, or work toward an individualized goal—and yes, play is absolutely part of the job! With support and guidance from a BCBA, you'll: Provide engaging, one-on-one ABA therapy Help children build communication, social, play, and daily living skills Track progress using easy-to-use electronic data systems Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members throughout your day Celebrate the little wins that can turn into BIG milestones Why You'll Love Working at Autism 360 We want this to be a place where you can start a career—not just pick up a job. Paid training & onboarding — we'll help you learn the skills you need Monday-Friday schedule — no weekends or major holidays 30+ hours per week with consistent session blocks Competitive pay: typically $18-$27/hour , plus bonus opportunities Medical, dental & vision insurance Telehealth benefits Pet insurance — because furry family members count, too! 401(k) Paid time off Supportive BCBAs who coach, teach, and invest in your growth You Might Be Perfect for This Role If... You don't need years of ABA experience to get started. We're looking for people who are kind, reliable, energetic, coachable, and genuinely enjoy helping children succeed. You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass required background/screening requirements. Because this is an active, hands-on role, you should also be comfortable sitting on the floor, standing, walking, running when needed, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Experience working with children is helpful—but your willingness to learn matters, too. Ready to Start Something Meaningful? Maybe you're exploring a career in ABA, psychology, education, special education, social work, child development, occupational therapy, speech therapy, or healthcare . Or maybe you simply know you're great with kids and want a job where what you do every day actually matters. Either way, we'd love to meet you. Come learn. Come grow. Come make a difference.
