Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a supportive school environment near Durham, NC. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for professionals who excel at delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions for students and thrive as part of a collaborative educational team. The position is itinerant, serving one or two students at a time across multiple campuses, and offers a meaningful way to make a direct impact on students lives.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Previous experience providing ABA therapy or behavioral support in school or pediatric settings Strong communication skills to work seamlessly with educators, families, and team members Proficiency in data collection, implementation of behavior intervention plans, and progress monitoring Ability and willingness to travel between campuses as assigned (itinerant schedule) Enthusiastic about fostering student independence and skill development
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized one-to-one behavioral interventions in accordance with student IEPs and prescribed plans Collect and document data on student progress daily Work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and caregivers Support students primarily in elementary through middle school age ranges Adapt interventions based on student response and progress
