Job Description

Experience the rewarding impact of supporting a student who truly needs your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a single student in a school environment near Elon, NC, providing essential behavioral support Monday through Friday from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm (37.5 hours weekly, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) through June 2027. This assignment requires dedication and confidence in supporting a student presenting significant behavioral needs, including challenging and aggressive behaviors. The ideal fit is someone comfortable implementing evidence-based behavior management strategies, has previous experience in similar settings, and can patiently adapt to the students evolving needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Demonstrated experience working with students with aggressive or challenging behaviors Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and consistent in a dynamic environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
Preferred:
