Job Description

Job Summary Serving families in Fayetteville, Cumberland County and surrounding areas. At Education Management Group (EMG) , we believe meaningful change happens through collaboration, compassion, and evidence-based care . Our team partners closely with families, schools, and communities to support children in building skills that lead to greater independence and success. We are currently seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and/or Behavior Technicians (BTs) who are passionate about supporting children and families through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Position Overview Behavior Technicians work directly with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve communication, social, academic, and adaptive skills. Technicians provide direct therapy sessions , collect behavioral data, and collaborate with families and supervisors to support meaningful progress. This position may involve in-home, school, or community-based services depending on the needs of the child and family. Duties Implement individualized ABA programs developed by a supervising BCBA Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children with developmental and behavioral needs Collect accurate data on client progress during sessions Follow behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client progress or concerns Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings as required Support generalization of skills across home, school, and community environments Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with families and caregivers Ensure services are delivered ethically and in accordance with BACB guidelines
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with supervisors Strong communication and professionalism with families
Preferred:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities Coursework in psychology, education, ABA, or related field Candidates without RBT certification may be hired as Behavior Technicians and supported through the RBT certification process . Work Environment Services may occur in: Client homes Schools or private education settings Community locations Technicians should be comfortable: Playing and interacting with children Implementing structured teaching activities Managing challenging behaviors using trained ABA strategies Why Join EMG?
