Job Description

You also know it's some of the most meaningful work a person can do, when it's done right. Too often it isn't. You get handed a schedule, dropped into a home, and left to figure it out. The company treats you like a warm body filling a slot, and the family feels it too. That's not us. We're a startup building a different kind of ABA in North Carolina, and we're building it around a simple idea: a child's world should get bigger , not smaller. That happens through connection, with the child, with the family, and with you as the steady presence they can count on. What this actually is A part-time, In home case in Smithfield, NC. Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. You'll work one-on-one with one child, following a plan built by a BCBA who actually has your back, and you won't be doing it alone. Some of it happens in the home. Some of it happens where life really happens, the park, the pool, the music class, wherever this kid gets to practice being brave in the real world. If the idea of getting out into the community with a family lights you up, keep reading. If it doesn't, this probably isn't your fit, and that's okay. What you'll be doing Working 1:1 with a child, in their home and out in the community Bringing the BCBA's treatment plan to life, session by session Building on what this kid is already good at to grow communication, play, behavior, and everyday-life skills Taking clean, honest session data and documenting real progress Staying in close, easy communication with the BCBA and the family Showing up. Every time. Because your consistency is part of the therapy Who we're hoping to meet Someone who brings more than a cert.
Someone who:
Genuinely loves kids on the spectrum, the hard days included Is rock-solid reliable and can fully commit to that Monday-Friday, 12:00-3:00 window Feels at home in someone's living room and out in the world with a family Is genuinely up for community-based sessions, not just in-home hours Is patient, warm, and tuned in to what one specific kid actually needs Communicates well and manages their time well The details

We build therapy around the moments and places that make a kid light up, because that's exactly where the real growth hides. Radical Honesty. No slop, no runaround, no vague "he's doing great." We tell families the truth about their child's progress, and we treat you like a partner who deserves the full picture too. We Measure What Actually Matters.
