Job Description
50 Stars Staffing is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to support students in a school-based setting in Dover, New Hampshire . The ideal candidate will provide behavioral, academic, and classroom support while helping students build positive skills and succeed in the school environment. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral and academic support. Implement behavior intervention and positive behavior-support strategies. Assist students with classroom routines, transitions, and social skills. Collect and document behavioral and academic data. Follow student behavior plans and individualized support strategies. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, BCBA, and related service providers. Promote a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. Maintain confidentiality and accurate student documentation. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience working with children or students with behavioral/developmental needs preferred. Experience with ABA or behavior-support strategies is a plus. Strong communication, patience, and classroom-management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a school-based team. RBT certification is preferred but not required.
