Job Description

Make a direct impact supporting students with behavioral needs in an engaging elementary classroom environment. This onsite contract opportunity provides you with a chance to apply your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or experienced Behavior Tech/Para, collaborating closely with a dedicated school BCBA. Located in a welcoming community near Dover, NH, this role extends from October 2026 through May 2027, offering consistent hours and daily variety.
What you bring:
Valid RBT Certification (must be active and submitted with your application) Demonstrated experience working with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioral support needs in educational settings Skill in implementing behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports Excellent documentation abilities and strong communication skills Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, staff, and families Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to student confidentiality Flexibility for full onsite, weekday hours (32.5 hours per week) Role responsibilities: Work intensively with elementary-aged students implementing individualized behavioral intervention plans Model and reinforce positive social skills and appropriate behaviors Collect and report behavioral data according to established protocols Collaborate with classroom teachers, BCBA, and related providers to ensure continuity of supports Offer proactive assistance in de-escalating behavioral incidents and assist with crisis intervention, as needed Support a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students Applicants must have experience working in a behavioral setting; candidates without this background cannot be considered.
