Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract A full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is available to provide direct support services in an elementary school setting for students with Autism. This role involves working with a K-5th grade classroom of 10 students and supporting behavioral interventions through discrete trial training.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions based on established behavior plans Assisting the classroom team in implementing discrete trials to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Monitoring student progress and documenting data accurately to support treatment goals Collaborating with teachers and therapists to provide comprehensive support tailored to each student's needs Maintaining compliance with all BACB ethical standards and guidelines in behavioral service delivery Qualifications and experience: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly in school-based settings Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity and maintain professional communication with educational staff Strong organizational and documentation skills Patience, adaptability, and a compassionate approach towards working with diverse learners
