Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary and high school students by supporting their academic and personal growth as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Paraprofessional. This contract role, located near Tilton, NH, offers the chance to work closely with students and educators while advancing your expertise in behavioral support within educational settings. As a dedicated paraprofessional, you'll collaborate with teachers and special education staff, implementing individualized support strategies to help students thrive. You'll foster positive classroom environments, provide one-on-one or small group assistance, and ensure each student receives the guidance they need to succeed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or RBT in a school setting preferred Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and positive behavior intervention strategies Ability to build rapport with students at both elementary and high school levels Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependability and adaptability in dynamic school environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one behavioral support and instructional assistance to students as directed by teachers and behavior specialists Record and report on student progress and behavior data accurately and confidentially Collaborate with educational teams to adapt learning materials and modify activities as needed Reinforce classroom rules, routines, and positive behaviors Support inclusion and participation in academic, social, and community activities Participate in ongoing training and professional development This is a full-time, 32.5-hour-per-week contract position, with immediate opportunities available.
