Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development through personalized support plans Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols under supervision, ensuring consistency and fidelity in intervention delivery Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies Support clients' communication skills through structured teaching techniques aligned with their individualized care plans Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members, caregivers, and educators to ensure cohesive care and effective communication about client progress Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing therapy protocols Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Experience assisting with ADLs and supporting clients' functional independence goals Excellent data collection skills for behavioral health assessments and progress tracking Background in special education or school-based settings is a plus Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with clients, families, and team members while maintaining ethical standards aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to transforming lives through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies.
