Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on behavioral therapy principles, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments Assist with patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop tailored interventions Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and positive environment that promotes learning and engagement Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Collaborate with supervisors, clinicians, educators, and families to ensure consistency in care and progress toward therapeutic goals Participate in ongoing training related to special education, behavioral health, medical terminology, and other relevant areas to enhance your skills Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation practices Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality Ability to perform patient assessments and support diagnostic evaluations effectively Compassionate communication skills for working with diverse populations including children, families, and multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with medical terminology, records management, and intake procedures related to behavioral health services Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication directly impacts lives.
