Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring fidelity to ABA therapy protocols. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other essential self-care skills. Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies tailored to individual learning styles and needs. Conduct behavioral health assessments and contribute to the development of personalized care plans for clients with neurodevelopmental disorders. Maintain HIPAA compliance by safeguarding medical records, documenting client progress, and ensuring confidentiality at all times. Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to promote consistency across environments and ensure optimal outcomes. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management techniques. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention strategies in various settings, including home-based environments. Proficiency in data collection methods, medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and developmental disabilities. Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and cooperation during therapy sessions.
