We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team in East Orange, NJ. We look forward to hearing from you! SocialBehaviorLearning.com Please note this is a part-time position offer~20-25 hours/week hours from Monday-Friday, 11:30-4:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for: Maintain dependable and consistent performance. Demonstrate proficiency in Behavioral Redirection techniques. Observe and record children's behaviors using electronic data input (Central Reach). Identify and respond to improvements in a child's behavior. Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Implement 1:1 Behavioral intervention programs for children with Autism. Participate in monthly Professional Development trainings. Nurture and encourage social skills. Commit to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment. Be open to and accept constructive feedback.
Physical Requirements:
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Able to assume various postures promptly (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing) as required. Willing and able to assist, transport, and execute swift body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan when working with children displaying challenging behaviors
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required ; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
