East Orange, NJ Job Details Part-time $22 - $27 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Foreign language proficiency Customer communication High school diploma or GED Positive reinforcement (classroom management strategies) Full Job Description Heart to Heart is looking for a bilingual Spanish/English Behavior Technician (BT) to join our ABA center. This is a part-time, after-school position for someone who is compassionate, dependable, energetic, and enjoys working with children. The Behavior Technician will provide direct ABA services and work closely with a BCBA to help children develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. What You'll Do Provide direct ABA services to children in a center-based setting. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA. Teach communication, social, academic, and daily living skills. Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies. Collect accurate data during sessions. Communicate client progress and concerns to the supervising BCBA. Support children during transitions, activities, and daily routines. Communicate effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking clients and families. Follow clinical direction and incorporate feedback from the BCBA. Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment. Maintain client confidentiality and follow company policies. Schedule Part-time After-school hours Afternoon/evening availability required Consistent availability preferred Schedule based on client and center needs Compensation & Training $22-$27/hour , based on experience and qualifications. Required:
Fluent in Spanish and English — verbal communication in both languages is required. High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of ABA experience Reliable and dependable attendance. Comfortable working with children. Ability to follow directions, accept feedback, and work as part of a clinical team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to continue learning ABA principles and techniques.
