Behavior Technician (IIH — Intensive In‑Home)
Location:
Middlesex County, NJ and surrounding areas (travel required )
Pay:
$25

Part‑time / Full‑time (flexible hours; weekday and evening availability required) About Us We provide intensive in‑home (IIH) behavioral support for children and young adults with autism. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence‑based care individualized to each client and family. Technicians work under the ongoing supervision and guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Position Summary We are seeking reliable, patient, and motivated Behavior Technicians to deliver one‑on‑one IIH services for individuals with autism, ages 3-21, in clients' homes throughout Middlesex County and nearby areas. The Behavior Technician will implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and partner closely with families and the supervising BCBA to promote skill development, independence, and meaningful progress. Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans created by the supervising BCBA during in‑home sessions.
- Provide direct instruction and coaching in social, communication, adaptive, play, and academic skills.
- Collect accurate, timely data on target behaviors and skill acquisition; report progress to BCBA.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment during sessions.
- Model strategies and coach family members when appropriate to promote generalization of skills.
- Attend supervision, training, and team meetings as required.
- Travel to client homes within Middlesex County and surrounding areas. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or degree in a related field preferred.
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred but not required — we provide training.
- Willingness to follow BCBA direction and implement behavior plans with fidelity.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to travel to client homes.
- Strong communication, observation, and data‑collection skills.
- Comfortable working with children and young adults with diverse needs.
- Background check, motor vehicle record check, and any required state clearances must be completed. Preferred
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or willingness to pursue RBT certification. What We Offer
