Job Summary Learn Through Play ABA is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team serving children and families throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties, New Jersey . Our BCBAs work closely with children, families, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to develop evidence-based treatment plans that build communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in a supportive and natural environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive ABA assessments, including skill-based assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs), as clinically appropriate. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each client's strengths, needs, and family priorities. Create, implement, monitor, and modify behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs. Provide ongoing supervision, training, and clinical guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Review and analyze client data to evaluate progress and make data-driven treatment decisions. Conduct regular caregiver and parent training to help families generalize skills into everyday routines and environments. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, and other members of the client's care team when appropriate. Complete reassessments, treatment plan updates, progress reports, and other required clinical documentation. Ensure services are provided in accordance with BACB ethical standards, payer requirements, HIPAA regulations, and company policies. Maintain consistent communication with families and clinical team members regarding client progress and treatment recommendations. Support RBT professional development through feedback, modeling, competency development, and ongoing supervision. Qualifications Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). New Jersey licensure or eligibility to practice in accordance with applicable state requirements. Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Experience providing ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Strong knowledge of ABA principles, functional assessment, behavior reduction strategies, and skill-acquisition programming. Experience supervising and supporting RBTs or other direct-care staff. Strong clinical judgment and ability to make data-driven treatment decisions. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with children, families, and team members. Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and maintaining confidential clinical documentation. Experience providing home-based ABA services is preferred.
