Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician working afterschool and weekend hours ! In this vital role, you will provide direct behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help clients develop essential skills, improve behavior management, and enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols to support clients' developmental goals Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and communication skills development Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts to update care plans and ensure ethical compliance with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and team members to promote consistency in care and therapy goals Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and managing medical documentation securely Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), behavior management, and implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health needs in home-based or clinical settings Strong data collection skills for behavioral data collection and progress tracking Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards Prior experience working within special education or school environments is a plus Excellent client communication skills, patience, and a compassionate attitude toward clients and families Must be committed to professional ethical standards and compliance with all relevant regulations Join us in making a difference through energetic engagement, detailed care, and dedicated support! Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
