Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, and feeding to promote independence Collect and record detailed behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement individualized behavior management strategies aligned with care plans and ABA protocols Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching techniques tailored to their needs Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to ensure compliance with ethical standards and treatment goals Maintain accurate medical documentation and behavioral records in accordance with HIPAA regulations Engage in home-based or school-based therapy sessions, providing direct behavioral therapy under supervision Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Familiarity with special education environments, school settings, or home-based behavioral programs is highly valued Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation practices is a plus Demonstrated ability to implement ABA therapy protocols and behavior management techniques effectively Experience working within ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Strong client communication skills and the ability to collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff Previous exposure to behavioral health or applied behavior analysis (ABA) services will enhance your success in this role Embark on a fulfilling career path where your dedication helps unlock potential and foster growth!
