$35/hr, W2 Employee, accrued sick time from day one, RBT 40-hr course included, RBT/BCBA supervision included Hamilton, NJ 22 yr old, Level 2 Autism Spectrum Disorder Wednesdays 12-3 pm Saturdays 4 hours Sundays 4 hours Make your own hours for Sat/Sun, only requirement is that they are before 6:00 pm I am seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and patient Behavior Technician to join our team. This position is with an adult male. Must be comfortable with aggressive behaviors (hitting, lunging, threatening to bite). Though they don't happen often, and typically are only directed at parents when they do, the behavior technician must be familiar with behaviors like these in case they do appear during a session. Client is fully verbal and extremely skillful. Goals will focus on building trust with staff, independent skills in the community, and tolerating going out with a staff member instead of his parents. Sessions will take place in the house and out in the community. Must have reliable transportation to bring him on outings. The BCBA will supervise you weekly.
Job Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or with individuals with special needs Minimum of a highschool diploma Must pass a background check In-Person, 1:1 direct therapy in home and community Implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs under the supervision of a BCBA Daily data collection on client programs using HiRasmus (app on phone) Comfortable receiving in-person and telehealth training from the BCBA Effective and professional communication with BCBA and family Completion of thorough daily session notes Ability to remain calm during behavior outbursts Access to reliable transportation
