Job Description

ABA Therapy agency seeks caring and devoted individuals to work as ABA therapists for children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Therapists will work with clients one-on-one in either their homes or schools/preschools and work on helping children with challenges in behavioral, social, communication, and functional daily living skills. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA services to a young nonverbal child with autism.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (consistent afternoon hours)
Case Highlights:
Nonverbal child who uses a speech-generating device and is working on functional communication. Currently receives Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy through school.
Primary goals include:
Functional communication, toilet training, daily living skills (e.g., tooth brushing), skill acquisition and independence.
Ideal Candidate:
BT or RBT (RBT preferred). Experience working with nonverbal autistic children . Familiarity with AAC/speech-generating devices is highly preferred. Knowledge of basic sign language is a plus. Patient, engaging, and committed to helping children develop communication and daily living skills. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to provide consistent attendance , as the family highly values reliability and continuity of care. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with developmental needs Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision Collect data and document session progress Communicate professionally with supervisors and families Maintain consistency and reliability in assigned cases Qualifications Experience working with children (strong ABA experience preferred) RBT certification is a plus (not required) Reliable transportation Strong communication skills Dependable, professional, and eager to learn Ability to pass background checks and onboarding requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Ongoing BCBA supervision and support Opportunities for case assignment once onboarding is complete Flexible schedules Supportive team environment
