In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapy protocols, primarily Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to support clients on their journey toward greater independence and improved quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster growth, develop skills, and promote positive behavior change in both home and school settings. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, to promote independence. Collect and analyze behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed by licensed behavior analysts to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Support clients in various environments such as home, school, or community settings, ensuring consistency in behavioral interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care plans and behavioral management strategies are followed. Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering direct behavioral therapy. Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Experience in data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining medical records within a healthcare or educational setting. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients through behavior management strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and client care plans. Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred. Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
