The Role As a BT/RBT you will provide individualized, 1:1 ABA services to children in home, daycare, and community settings under the direction and supervision of a BCBA.
You will:
Implement individualized treatment programs developed by the supervising BCBA. Use evidence-based ABA strategies to help children develop communication, social, play, academic, and daily living skills. Build positive and professional relationships with clients and families. Collect accurate behavioral and skill-acquisition data. Complete session notes and required documentation accurately and on time. Assist with functional assessment procedures under BCBA direction. Model treatment strategies for caregivers when directed by the supervising BCBA. Implement generalization procedures as written in the treatment plan. Report client progress, observations, and potential barriers to the supervising BCBA. Participate in age-appropriate play, activities, and learning opportunities with clients. Follow program updates and treatment changes as directed by the BCBA. Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other members of the treatment team. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working with children Reliable transportation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Sklled using software, including medical record systems and data collection tools like Central Reach or Rethink Dependability, patience, and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively with children and as part of a clinical team Ability to complete required background and employment checks Ability to work in an active environment, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting on the floor
Preferred:
RBT certification Experience working with children with autism or other developmental differences Experience in ABA, special education, childcare, education, or behavioral health Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in psychology, education, behavior analysis, human services, or a related field CPR/First Aid certification Career Growth Applied ABA Therapy believes in promoting from within.
