Job description:
Duties:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with skill acquisition programs, including teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Provide support during community outings and social activities
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions and progress
  • Follow all ethical guidelines and professional standards in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to collect accurate data
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with behavioral challenges
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients
Note:
Prior experience as a Behavior Technician or working in the field of ABA is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong interest in working with individuals with special needs. Position is for Wednesday Evenings, and every other weekend.
