Job Description

Job Summary The Center for Pediatric Feeding & Development is a new behavioral specialty clinic in the central Jersey region. We're opening by the end of 2026 and expect to start admitting clients into the intensive, pediatric feeding program around that time. The founder and director is a
BCBA-D & LBA
who started this company with her passion for providing quality evidence-based care strongly rooted in compassion and ethical practice. In joining our team as a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with a range of pediatric feeding disorders. You will work closely with the director who will be on-site and provide high-quality and consistent training and oversight. Given the nature of the specialty service provided, you will receive frequent supervision. At The Center for Pediatric Feeding & Development, we strive to create a supportive team of individuals who are dedicated to providing clients and their families a trusted team they can feel confident in supporting their child's mealtime needs. You will work with a wide range of clients including those with neurodevelopmental diagnoses. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral therapy protocols and collect in vivo, valuable data to track progress. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference through direct behavioral therapy and client-centered care. Duties Implement individualized, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy plans tailored to each client's needs, including teaching new skills and managing behaviors. Treatment will focus prodominently on clients' feeding needs Collect and record detailed behavioral data during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and team members to update on client progress and collaborate on care strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Integrate supervision feedback into direct care service provision requirements Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts while delivering high-quality care. Experience Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred. Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management techniques. Experience assisting with ADLs and implementing behavior management strategies in home-based or school environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards related to client care. Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and utilize data to guide therapy sessions effectively. Prior experience working within special education settings or supporting individuals with disabilities is a plus. Commitment to professional growth in areas such as ethical practice, client communication, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
