Job Summary Join our BCBA-owned dynamic and supportive team as a Behavior Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and individuals with developmental and neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your energetic and compassionate approach will help implement individualized behavior intervention plans, assist with daily living skills, and foster meaningful progress through evidence-based practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA). You will work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote growth, independence, and improved quality of life.
•If you are interested in becoming RBT, we are happy to provide free 40 hours training and will pay for you to sit the exam! Duties Implement in-person behavior intervention treatment sessions based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients' developmental goals Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients during structured teaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies for skill acquisition Maintain clear communication with clients' families and team members regarding progress, challenges, and daily activities Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and managing medical documentation appropriately Support the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including autism spectrum disorder support strategies Experience Bachelor of Education, Psychology or related field (or in the process of finishing the degree) Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in settings such as schools, clinics, or home-based environments- 1 year minimum required. Hands-on experience implementing ABA therapy protocols and behavioral management techniques a plus! Experience working specifically with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders a plus! Bilingual is a plus! Pay:
$29.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 20.0 per week
