Role:
Brighter Tomorrow Behavioral Services in Morristown, NJ is looking for a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children with autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with kids, helping them grow, learn, and thrive every single day. If you have a heart for helping others and a drive to build meaningful connections, we want to hear from you! •The schedule is for a 5 year old girl: Monday - Thursday. 3:00p. -6:00p
Responsibilities:
Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Provide direct, one-on-one behavioral intervention sessions with children on the autism spectrum Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavioral outcomes during each session Support the development of communication, social, and daily living skills in pediatric clients Follow individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies as prescribed Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to ensure consistent care Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for clients during therapy sessions
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred Prior experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Ability to follow detailed behavioral protocols and maintain accurate data records Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent client attendance Must pass a background check and meet any state-required clearances
